After getting support from many tech companies, Ahmed Mohamed has got lots of tech goodies from Microsoft. Earlier this week, he was arrested for bringing a homemade clock to his school, where his clock was mistaken as a bomb.


Life of Ahmed Mohamed, the teenager who was arrested for bringing a homemade clock to his school, has changed a lot in the last one week. The 14-year-old studies MacArthur High School in Texas, where he was questioned by police and arrested for bringing a “hoax bomb.”

Ahmed’s arrest incident outraged the social media and his school was accused of harassing him due to his religion and race. Ahmed got widespread support from different tech companies like Google, Facebook, Twitter, Box, Reddit etc. Mark Zuckerberg and President Obama invited him over to Facebook HQ and The White House respectively.
But this wasn’t the end of the story. Microsoft also showed its support and sent him a big package of goodies.
The package contained new Surface Pro 3, Microsoft Band, a 3D printer, a Raspberry Pi, an Office 365 subscription and much more.
