Being a technology addict could be frustrating sometimes and then you start looking for an escape. If you want to give up those endless sessions of texting, posting countless pictures to Instagram, and watching tons of YouTube videos – here’s a great device for you.
This new phone in the market called ZERO from New York-based NoPhone. As the name suggests, it comes with no features at all. It doesn’t come with any high-definition camera or some new technology like Force Touch. And you can’t even make a call.
It’s just a rectangular black piece of plastic that is cut in the exact dimensions as Apple’s iPhone 5 and it’s a follow-up to NoPhone’s first follow-up, which raised more than $18,000 on Kickstarter last year.
It’s sleek and familiar design keeps your hands busy and is devised to fulfill the constant need to hold a smartphone.
“It’s a technology free-alternative to constant hand-to-phone contact. We want to become the largest fake phone company in the world, that’s kind of the goal,” NoPhone Co-Founder Van Gould says.
The earlier model included a mimicked camera, button, and an outlet. All these distractions have been removed from the new model to make a black and rectangular piece of plastic.
